About

The Georgia Tech Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America (GTASA) is an affiliated student chapter of the Acoustical Society of America.  Our mission is to increase and diffuse the knowledge of acoustics, and promote its practical applications.

Seminars

Our main event of the semester is a lecture series on diverse topics in acoustics. Past speakers include Georgia Tech faculty, as well as professionals in industry with interests acoustic applications. We also host a barbecue at the close of the spring semester and a Mini-Conference at the end of the fall semester.

  • Student competitions and science fairs

How to Join

GTASA is free to join and there are no obligations as a member. Members our mailing list will receive notifications regarding speaker events, poster sessions, job opportunities, outreach events, and other opportunities for free food.
